Team Syncardia With a goal of promoting cardiovascular health, the cycling team, Team SynCardia, is captained by SynCardia Systems Inc. founder Dr. Marvin J. GABA rides are mostly C rides great for base miles! Arizona Brevets The Arizona brevets are a series of timed, long distance cycling events through southern Arizona. Brevets (pronounced brah-VAY) are not races, although riders seek to improve their personal best times. For many, the goal is simply to finish and to go farther than they have before. Alicia Rides The place to visit for Tucson Cycling News with an emphasis on racing Fairwheel Racing Team / Bike Shop The Fair Wheel Racing Team is a grassroots cycling team whose efforts focus on helping people of all ages and abilities with their cycling. We promote and sponsor several community events and races that include daily training rides, a criterium series, road races, and providing mechanical support at community charity events. We currently have about 40 members who range in category from juniors, masters, women in categories 3 and 4, and men in categories 3,4, and 5. Some members ride and train to race, other members ride and train for fitness and sanity. The primary requirement for becoming a member is you have to want to ride a bike. (don’t have a bike- we’ll find you one).
